About Us: Cambrian automates Precision Diagnostics workflows for laboratories and hospitals. The company’s first device platform - The Manta - is a Nucleic Acid Extraction Robot for clinical and research samples. We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Field Application Sales Executive to join our team and drive the adoption of our diagnostic solutions in the market.
Job Summary: The Field Application Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling our diagnostic devices to healthcare providers, laboratories, and other relevant stakeholders. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills to effectively demonstrate the value of our products and build strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential customers in the healthcare sector, including hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other medical facilities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve team goals.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the target market.
- Provide product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions to potential and existing customers.
- Offer ongoing support and guidance to customers, addressing any technical or operational issues.
- Support design of solutions for specific use cases at customer sites.
- Product Demonstrations and Application Design:
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations tailored to customer-specific needs and use cases.
- Assist customers in designing and optimizing their applications using our diagnostic devices.
- Provide expert guidance on integrating our products into existing workflows and systems.
- Technical Expertise and Support:
- Gain a deep understanding of the company’s diagnostic devices, including their features, benefits, and applications.
- Collaborate with the technical team to stay updated on product developments and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Feedback:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using CRM software.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the management team.
- Contribute to the development of marketing and sales strategies based on field insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales and customer relationship management, preferably in the medical device or diagnostics industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in field application or technical sales roles within the diagnostics or medical device industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to diagnostic devices.
- Experience working with diverse healthcare providers and institutions.
